Liverpool are pressing ahead with their attempts to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig this summer, according to Kaveh Solhekol. The Sky Sports News reporter has claimed that the Reds are now preparing to make a second bid for the Guinea midfielder after having had an initial offer of around £57m turned down by the German club. The Bundesliga side were widely thought to be keen to keep hold of Keita beyond the summer, but Solhekol is now reporting that senior figures at the club are prepared to sell the 22-year-old to Liverpool. And, according to the reporter, that means that Liverpool are set to return to Leipzig with a fresh bid of more than £60m in the coming days. Klopp reveals he attempted to sign ‘unbelievable’ Salah at Dortmund Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has high expectations for Mohamed Salah after revealing that he tried to sign the Pharaoh while he was managing Dortmund. Salah caught Klopp’s eye when he was at Basel. Dortmund were playing FC Basel in a pre-season friendly in July of 2013. Although Dortmund convincingly beat the Swiss side 3-1, Klopp was impressed by Salah. The then Borussia Dortmund manager was so convinced by his ability and potential that he tried to sign him in the 2014 winter transfer window. However, by the time Klopp decided to make a move for him Chelsea had already wrapped up a £12million deal. “We played against him when he was at Basel and we didn’t know him,” Klopp said. “We played with Dortmund against him and it was ‘what the f…!’ “It was unbelievable. The moment I said ‘let’s go for him’ he was already at Chelsea.” Although it seemed that Salah would not be a Klopp player in the immediate future, the German coach continued to keep tabs on him Speaking on Sky Sports News on Monday morning, Solhekol said: “We’re expecting some progress on Naby Keita to Liverpool.
@The Liebherr Legacy is the only real decent poster, think there's a few that are ok ish. But 90% of them are just so bitter and angry.
Nah, they're sound. I've posted on there for years, they'll have that pack mentality if you push buttons but that's just funny, in general they are all ok though.
You won't find me getting bitter about anything football related these days , the PL is just a cash cow , don't get me started on F1 though
I got thread banned on a couple of threads on there last summer, as they couldn't handle me just telling the truth about the Koeman situation. I didn't even wum them, St Godders nearly popped his colostomy bag
Good morning . TBF More than one of us stuck up for you . It still makes me laugh that people from ALL teams bang on about honouring contracts , IMHO RK signed a 3 year deal , he told us he wanted to move on . We should have taken him at his word , it would have given us 1 more year with him , and given us a year to look for a suitable replacement . No , can't have that can we
That's true tbf mate, a couple of you lads did exactly that, but I still got torched by the rest of the baying mob.
