Try starting with the initials JB. Apart from his pre-season weight issue this time last year a smart right hander from Gezza resulted in him being packed off to Hull.

I'm pleased to say Gezza looks much fitter, his "irritant" from last year has gone and I'm sure he will be 50% of our regular cb duo this season.

Yeh Sparkey, I think he must be taking something, never still, always on the edge, keeps a little "goodie bag" with him all the time and forever swigging water. Some say he rarely sleeps.

To be fair to Jay he turned up for the new season fit and in shape. Whereas Gerrard.......... to me it looked like he threw his toys out of the pram big time after Jones decision not to pick him for the play off final. Theres been loads of rumours why he left on loan. Looks to me like a fall out with Jones is the probable reason.

Jones not selecting Gerrard for the play off final was a mistake. At their best Hudson is better than Gerrard. But Hudson had a mare against Leicester and to me wasnt 100%. The partnership that day should have been Blake/Gerrard.

To me though a Hudson/ Gerrard partnership doesnt really work. If all are fit id be starting Hudson and Keinan.

Whatever ego Jay had he is going to be badly missed.
