After helping rescue a point to Premiership new boys Norwich last week, Royston Drenthe is now hoping Everton can kick on and get into Europe.

It's a big ask in what's such a tough league in terms of European qualification. How much of a chance do the Toffees really have on that front though!?

Since then he has not played in your last two games, presumably Drenthe is injured as he always looks lively?

i don't think they'll manage Europe this year, they simply aren't firing reliably enough to grind out the run of results needed. Landon will help with that, but 'one swallow doesn't make a summer' as they say.

Drenthe did look like a real handful against us. Kind of glad he only came on when he did really, as seeing players with pace running at our defence is often a bit of a hair raising experience!
