Well done last night on dumping the cup holders on their own patch! That must be hurting them With the mighty Canaries giving Spurs a double sucker punch in the last 8 minutes it was a good night for the League Cup, as was the night before. So are you guys starting to dream of a trip to Wembley? Middlesbrough, while not strictly easy should see you through to the Semi's, where anything can happen, and I am fairly confident we will put Villa out at home. Just think - we could we meet in the Semi's? TBH I think that would be great, certainly better than seeing one of us playing Chelsea, the other Arsenal (perhaps), and ensuring at least one "small" team makes the Final
Dreaming of Europe next season after we've won at Wembley. Bookies have us at around 8-1 to win the League Cup. But we can do it.
They say ML always do well against the best teams in the league and always takes his team deep in the cups. Better prepare to reach the final 'cause it will happen
If we are going to get to the final we will have to play our strongest team. Lets not kid ourselves liverpool played a weakened team against us and it was not until they brought on some big guns that the started playing. they have a striker problem that we have had in the past and that was the difference...3-1 flattered us but we deserved the win because we exposed their weakness and the last goal was a breakaway goal that liverpool gave away trying to get the equalizer...Im glad we never got chelsea home or away and got boro at home that gives us a good chance of reaching the semi's but not a forgone conclusion as the pressure will be on us at the liberty...If we do beat boro then for us to get to the final we will need another favorable draw....so no Im not dreaming of wembley as there is a way to go yet....ask me after the semi's if we win that....
Dai, it's perfectly acceptable to DREAM of Wembley. What we shouldn't do is expect to get to Wembley. One game at a time but I'm going to continue to dream until we know one way or the other.
Terror ! When I saw your name come up I thought great to see him back, but don't encourage the pool supporting Swans hating please log in to view this image
He's entitled to his opinions and his assessment of the game was largely accurate. Why don't you get off his case now.
You think? That's all that Liverpool have pal, his assesment of the game accurate? In that case all the best ! Nuff said!
They did play their seconds, bar Allen and Jones. We did expose their weakness and deserve our victory. We did score the 3rd because they were going all out for an equaliser. In my opinion.
If im not a supporter i dread to think what you are....one of the countless dont go brigade i think and that why you talk crap......hey ho does it matter to me...nah not at all......ill put you all right if i see bullshit though..and dont forget it..
I was at Anfield last night. And I come home to see you spouting shi* and doing anything to belittle the efforts of our Club. F*** off to the Loserpool board.
Yes of course, one game at a time but it can't be too far from most Swans thoughts, is it? The door is opening up for one of 'little teams' to pave the way for a grand day out, IMHO
