The owners actually sacked Nigel Pearson to prove a point that they took the Thaigate scandal seriously. After days of fans outcry at the decision to sack NP the board announce that Nigel Pearson will be reinstated as manager under a new contract. This new contract will include clauses in which any on or off the field antics from NP would result in instant dismissal without compensation. In this scenario the board proves its' point and have a nice $$ get out of jail clause if NP remotely steps out of line in the future. NP will tone down this alter ego of his when in he's the spotlight but realizes he has fans support and a chance to continue with his project which has been nearly 4 years in the making but also realizing he is on his last warning. We go on to qualify for CL last day of the season and be sat here this time next year licking our lips at the prospect of European Football @ the KP.
As much as i would like Nigel to still be our manager if he was offered his job back it would be untenable now
