However, if TN has paid x millions to buy the club, it would suggest that he is in for the long haul, otherwise why pay a huge sum and walk away? Nimer has paid **** all so far. £1 to acquire the club and whatever initial money he put in in January. A real sign of intent will be if he agrees a price with Duchatelet for Charlton Holdings.
I knew all about Southall - have nothing about Nimer. He seems to be both Saudi and Syrian. A respected businessman (doesn't behave like one on social media) Don't know if he's skint or loaded. Time will tell

I’m trying to convince myself that the social media attacks are a bit of a master stroke from Nimer, fighting fire with fire, so to speak. Ever since the takeover was announced Southall has been the public face who has continually used social media to drip feed a rosy picture on the health of the club and more importantly, how important he is to the future success. Remember the deadline day photo of the snacks! On the other hand, how the hell has an experienced, wealthy businessman been mugged off, by what appears to be a chancer?
@pieguts Precisely To make matters worse, Nimer has put minimal money in to date, and has thrown a massive paddy which has brought the club into disrepute once he discovered that it has been frittered. Zero confidence from me I’m afraid.
