Kangaroooorssssss (hope I spelt it correctly), welcome...what part of Oz are you from????
Just spent the last two matches in company of a R fan over for the holidays called Melbian...great lad....so tall!
Saw the dire match vs Huddersfield and came back for more yesterday...
So sorry Ian....I hope the next time we meet it will be in much better times
Safe Journey home
If Kangarooorssssss knows Oxford Street, he may be a New South Welshman. Check out the Hoops Down Under Facebook page (think they have their own website too). There's over 600 members...
I myself am an Old South Welshman (Taff that is) now a Melburnian.
It was great to be back even though the fare was dreadful. Met up with a ST holder that I hadn't seen since 89 when I moved from Berks to Bristol. Olly from hoops down under was there (he moved back in Feb) until asked to leave by the stewards for carrying a beer bottle to his seat. He left at 0-1 and I think was secretly pleased...
Got to see where Beth, Roller, Stan et al hang out in MU as well as the C&S. No doubt I'll be back later this year and will still turn up regardless. We are the only constant in this soap opera called QPR.
Thanks for calling me a lad Beth, first time in a long time. But I am tall!! However cos I had to use my brother in law's ticket - he's 60 - I still got in.
Was quite cheerful first half, a much improved performance from Monday (not hard). But 2nd fell away and couldn't believe the space Hull got our half... Haven't seen the highlights but had head in hands for comedy defending/goalkeeping at the death. Was convinced we'd snatched a draw, but sooo QPR, that's 3 late Xmas presents in 3 games for our opponents.
Painfully distracted in last 10 minutes, wife and mother in law were trying to get back to the car in goldhawk road and kept phoning and texting... No respect... and 30 quid for a cab from Knightsbridge to Goldhawk Rd station - seems expensive.
2 more days and it's back to Aus... 35 degrees and sunny... I'll get my flip flops
