Probably sour grapes on my part here, but just watched Luis Nani grab an Ajax player by the throat and push him against the advertising hoardings right under the lino's watchful eye. No action taken, and doubtful whether it will be even noted. Cannot help think if that had been Barton, Cisse, Drogba, Balloteli we would be watching it back in super slow mo and if a straight red was not shown, no doubt video evidence would be applied retrospectively. Not wanting more red cards here, just consistency.
Why did Ajax substitute their most effective player? Eriksen was running things and they took him off and brought on a dwarf who was useless. Nani's a **** and should have got a card and as for Jones what a ****ing donkey.
This has been the worst year for decisions and consistency of reffing I can remember. Man U do seem to have powers that transcend what happens on the football pitch - they do seem to tell the FA what to do.
