Every time a big name player leaves a club the fans begin to make excuses as to how they never wanted him anyway.

So when two big name players seem likely to leave what should we do? We should celebrate - because if they did not want to play for us anymore then we should be glad to be shot of them.

The single most frustrating thing for me as an Arsenal fan in the last few years is not lack of success it is the impression that we very often have a team with too many players who are not that bothered.

Will we win the league this year? Very unlikely.

But maybe just maybe we will have a team of players who play for each other...

I have never thought a one of our problems is that our players do not play for each other.

Dont worry I knew what you meant - I guess watching the team we all can reach different conclusions but for me there has been a sense that when thing are not going our way there are players who do not try as much as their skill levels might have you expect they could.

Well you may have a point there. But I don't think thats down to them not playing for each other I think its due to fear and/or complacency.

Yes but i think the complacency is fed by the fact that rather than thinking "I need to help us to get a result" some players are actually not really bothered by losing...
