To be honest I doubt there is much chance of Sunderland going down the current bottom 4 teams are defiantly going to fill the 3 relegation stops.

No thanks mate. 50 years of this crap is quite enough. I've travelled miles loads of times to "get behind the lads" and what have they given me in recent years? False hopes and huge disapointments that I wouldn't tolerate elsewhere.

I'll watch it on TV over here for the rest of the season. The top half/top ten target has been missed by a mile and we will finish in our traditional position near the bottom.

Yes I'm still fuming over Saturday.

Any Manager in any industry other than football would be out of the door by now.

Then again managers in top teams have been peddled for less.

Roy Hodgeson springs to mind here.

I think Ive lost the plot, what are these set pieces, other teams use, cos the only set piece Brucie has shown us Is a corner, and thats at the discression of the ref. still confused. What does our team practice in training?

Well I think you know what side I'm on, with the OP. I understand the anger but TBH the team need us now more than ever and I dont get this Bruce and players thing, well I do but think its wrong.

Bruce and the players could all be gone next season, the club and fans wont, wll not this fan, so its the clubs future I'm still fighting for.

I agree with support the lads for the weekend, we win great we lose and we ignore it er Wrong. we are not ostriches and bury our heads in the sand at the first bit of bad news, At the moment i feel like we are sailing on the good ship Sunderland steaming ahead in enemy infested waters, knowing that at any time a torpedo could hit, then the people who we put our faith in each week will abandon ship, every man for himself a la Bent.

Well i want the captain to wake up smell the coffee and post look outs, and organise air cover, like Bruce should be doing now, because one more bad performance, and everyone will turn on him. he cant do this to us, fill us with hope, only to dash it all due to his bad planning, he never plans for contingencies. i have never felt this bad since the season never to be mentioned

Forums such as this are the places to vent frustrations regarding our club. However, it really boils my piss when people get on the teams back the minute something goes wrong. Is it to much for some folk to give the lads vocal backing for 90 minutes. and it's when things are not going well when they need it most.
I couldn't believe the reaction of some fans when WBA took the lead against us: there was quite a few who actually walked out of the ground! I would hate to have to rely on the likes of those in a fight!

I hope that the people that can make it will. If you have a season ticket and live reasonably close, why not? You can get pissed off and leave the club etc. at the end of the season if we are relegated, but ATM we are about to play the most important game of the season. Our season might hinge on this; if we lose the team spirit will hit rock bottom and we may well be playing Championship football next season. If we win, it could spur the lads on, we'll thrash Fulham and still finish in the top 10.

I'm with Roger here. It would be better for those who are going to get on the lads' backs to go to the pub instead of the stadium (sorry, Niall, but for these five games, y'know). At least they won't be able to pick up on the bad vibes from the pub. We need the stadium roaring and rocking.

BUT ... Roger's also right in saying we shouldn't bury our heads in the sand like ostriches. The problem with that is we're rapidly running out of sand!
