Morning all. I think Grayson is out of his depth - he looked lost on Saturday. When he took Blackpool up from L1, the following year he was fighting relagation - so he has improved but still do not think he is the man to take us to the Premier.
Morning All How are all you lovely people? I wouldn't say I'm sh!tt!ng my pants but I that result was always a possibility. Pre-season going unbeaten has given the team a false hope, it was never gonna be as good a test as the Saints and the start of the Championship term and we went i to it thinking we had actually improved on last years team. I wouldn't say we are worse off but we definitely haven't improved and the teams around us are better. We are in the same position as we were on the very last day of last season, we need a couple of really good quality additions to kick us on and unfortunately they haven't come. We've done business but for what we have done we may as well as not done any at all. Imo, good quality recruitement is a problem which should have been addressed a LONG time ago and doesn't look like happening anytime soon (although I know the window isn't shut yet so I'll have to wait and see if we do any good business). I'm not saying SG or KB out, don't get me wrong, we still have time. But only just. If we get to the end of the window and we haven't improved then I fear there really is an air of begrudgement at the way the club isn't progressing as it should.

If we win tomorrow it will be expected, lose and a disaster result. If we don't win our next two both at home I don't look forward to matches 4 and 5 in the league away to West Ham and Ipswich. For me it wasn't the result, it was my pre-season fears all coming true in one game. If we had signed 2-3 quality players who had an off day we could have said okay time to gel, but we haven't. We signed Brown who is nothing but a hatchet man and a CB playing at LB both are not going to get any better.

The odds on us winning the league have dropped from 14/1 to 25/1, be we are still 7/1 to be promoted and grayson is 10/1 to be the next manager in championship to be sacked
Fickleness reaches a new level with Leeds fans. Its one game for ****s sake and they trounced is in our last season in L1 down there but we still went up. We did QPR at ER last season and they still pissed the league whilst looking **** against us. Teams have bad games now and again, thats football. So many ****shafts who know **** all calling for this head and that head. Well you can go bollocks and shut the **** up and get behind the team tomorrow and Sat.
and just after noticing them odds on grayson being sacked were as of 02/08/11 well before southampton
Although O Brien can get to **** cos he is absolute ****, always has been always will be and singlehandedly cost us any chance on Sat. Thats my only gripe.

I reckon replace O'Dea with O'Brien when parker is fit again O'Dea didnt play all that bad saturday compared to others and it is his natural position
