Did Liverpool put a bid in? Did they even ask Ipswich about him? So in the absence of any formal offer, how the friggin hell did we miss out?? Liverpool and {other club} to battle it out for the signing of... That'll be sweet, transfers are resolved in Thunderdome eh? I'd pay serious money to see Kenny in a metal cage with Fergie, even if we really didn't want the player anyway. Go on Kenny rip his pickled nose off!!!! Liverpool on high alert after player tells current manager, his missus is crap in the sack. Liverpool are to buy such a player, and half a dozen window lickers start tying out a squad list that basically consists of the current team plus this player and sodding Arda ****ing Turan!!!!!! Anything written by givemefootball.com, who'd have thought any website could make up worse ****e than caught offside? Well they did it, with aplomb! Rant over...for now
I think you're right Noblelox, Arda Turan would be a welcome addition to the squad and would win us the league like you say. I'm not so sure about the "Turan could take over the world with a clap of his hands," but hey if you have that much confidence in him then brilliant!
