No, i definitely would prefer the midfield and attack to be honest, not the defence (although if kissa was the player that he was in league 1 i'd take him). It was more just because it seemed that was what we were looking for when we were trying to bring delph back and then we were being massively linked with beckford. Obviously goes out of the window when howson is walked away by bates

i can remember Becchio signing the contract extension last year and being buzzin!!! im not sure now, we could have got £4m supposedly 'boro were offering!!!
JUD if you look at videos of becchio 2 years ago hes put on about 2 stone since, no wonder hes struggling
It just shows how much of a joke our backroom staff are, allowing players like Becchio and Schmeichel to be lazy and put on weight. You can't expect footballers to all be self-disciplined trainers!
