    Cardiff continue their preparation for their 9 months in the sun with another defeat. This time it was the mighty Brentford that overcame the premier league big boys from the capital city.

    Brentford 3-2 Cardiff

    My sides are splitting!

    I think Cardiff could be the new Derby. I honestly think they're going to get a whole load of massive batterings this season. We could put 5 or 6 past this bunch.

    Bring it on!!!!!

    Their fans are all up and about Joey Barton being there. Allthough he was not sitting in their end and wrote this on Twitter:

    @Joey7Barton

    Brentford played some good football tonight. Cardiff need to improve massively. @CMcAleny looks one for the future.

    how many goals is that they have conceded....they are going to get some high scores against this season......the thing is they actually look poor in midfield and defence and they need a keeper of quality if ever they will have any sort of chance against the bottom sides let alone the average sides....

    I think it could get very, very embarrassing to be honest guys, I know I've said many times this summer that they will be the whipping boys, but I beginning to think they will put an all new meaning to it!....................<ok>

    I know pre season friendlies count for very little, but surely they must want to get some wins and clean sheets under their belts to get some momentum and confidence going?
    If West Ham batter them in the first game after a **** pre season, it doesn't set them in good stead for the rest of the season does it?

    Didn't we lose against Port Talbot in a per-season friendly in our first PL year? Didn't hurt us!

    I guess time will tell. Thing is, Cardiff have been poor in every friendly not just one. Looking at their squad they look extremely undercooked.
