    Syd, after today's events, no one is laughing at us anymore going for these quality players and I have also heard that Defoe is still on the radar of the club but all dependent on Spurs bringing in their targets. Dempsey is a great player and can also play that midfield/forward role too so is adaptable.

    Still on a high tbh over Fletcher and Johnson today.

    the domino effect has well and truly kicked in now making these latest speculations very plausible.

    Dempsey is a very decent player, and now achievable i think, i'm not bowled over by his current antics mind. I'd still prefer Defoe alongside Fletcher, but I'm getting greedy now and still can't see that one.
