"Backlash", that suggests anger? I can't work out how they've managed it, but with all the bids they've made they've managed to make me find them amusing and tedious at the same time, but there's no anger.

Than Hull schools? You know the ones that are constantly bottom of the league tables!

Nice try but stones & glass houses and all that.

    Bollocks.

The main reason for the league positioning is due to the poor use of statistics, where they're comparing different data sets. Move the other Cities boundaries in or Hulls out and we score near the top.

That's just basic maths for us Hullgarians, but it seems to **** with the heads of lesser mortals from outside of Gods own acres.

I don't know why any of our fans would do that anyway but I've seen some daft stuff on here the last few months about diving Italian bastards and various other things so can kind of figure who might want to go do stuff like that

That's the issue with all the criticism of Hull. Cities are always ****ter in the middle than the suburbs. For some reason places like Hessle and Ferriby never count as Hull when looking at things like this, whereas in any other place the equivalent suburb is counted.

    Ferriby count as Hull?

    Dear God whatever next?

We're awfully posh out here you know. We don't like to be in any way associated with the unwashed masses.

PS. Before I get a mullering that was firmly tongue in cheek.

From the 1400's Up until a reshuffle in the early 1900's Ferriby was a part of Hullshire which ran from the banks of the River and included Hedon and Beverley.

Swanland and Raywell were a bobble extending the boundaries of Hull westward at that point to accommodate them into Gods acres.

It's arse about face that the City, with it's cheaper housing and therefore less Civic income from rates, ends up subsidising the wannabe's in what are really just suburban housing estates living off Hulls hand outs.

    Gosh chaps!

I'll be honest, I presumed you were a Ferriby dweller (what with the clue in your name), but you've given far too much away on this website to be considered posh.

The mask has slipped, you're scum just like the rest us. Embrace it.

Get to **** Party, just because I suffer the occasional follow through and my mates vomit in my neighbours gardens doesn't mean I'm not posh.

    I have a HU14 post code for ****s sake.

    It must count for something???

I never called you ponces, I wouldn't be so rude, I was more pointing out that people in Hull's villages can be viewed as parasites. <whistle>

There'll be a witch hunt soon if you keep dragging HU14 property prices down with your antics.

I'm only thinking of your wellbeing.

They like a good old fashioned lynching round those parts.

For some reason? It's because they fall within a completely different council boundary. When the boundaries for Hull and ER Councils were drawn Hull lost out unfortunately and although NFU was joking, for those precise snobbish reasons it''ll never now change.

We dont want to leave the Lesta masses in floods of tears. :emoticon-0116-evilg So you shall have to play on your own with this one. ;)

Erm... they dont have as much as many think. The Allams are worth far more according to the rich list of championship club owners. :1980_boogie_down:

I am a Cottingham person. Is that posh enough ? I also used to rent a 2 bed house years ago in Ferriby whilst my Cottingham house was being renovated and improved from the shell that i purchased. Whats the difference between Beverley - Ferriby - Swanland - Cottingham - Willerby when all is said and done. They are all classed as posh parts and outside of Hull.
