I have been getting a little frustrated with us being linked with a multitude of different players yet nothing seems to materialise. I was then thinking, do we really need to panic... We are currently in second and halfway through the season. We have two strikers who a going to be fresh for the second half of the season in AJ and Bobby as they haven't played a lot if any. That along with the likes of Diakite and Young, chewing at the bit to get back on the pitch and get some game time under their belts... Should we worry or just blindly trust in the fringe players we have.
True if those above (somewhat miraculously) return from injury and play brilliantly...sadly, can't see that happening. There is time yet...patience and let's see what happens by February 1st.
Good gear over there in NZ mate! Those two crocks will not play 10 matches between them the rest of this season.
Not a matter of panicking, but what club is looking to strengthen ? Vast majority look to "freshen up" their squad.
I for one am not too concerned if we fail to get anyone decent in the next week or so. I am all for giving some of the young hungry potentials a go and see how they impress compared to the likes of Zamora, Bloody Luke Young, Diakite, SWP and even AJ. Give Hitchcock and Petrasso et al. a good run as back up to the first team. They are our future. I'll post Flyer's response now: Bloody Harry will only look for the same old "has-beens" and not look to introducing young and hungry talent in to our line-up. Talking of the future, does anyone have an update on how Ale is getting on with his recovery, might he by some divine intervention be available for the last few games?
we are an Austin injury from being lucky to make the playoffs, we simply cannot be happy with what we have.
Its unlikely that we will see Bloody Luke Young playing again, he's just discovered that he's allergic to grass. And crowds. And footballs. He has to bathe in money to clear the nasty rash they give him.
