i am gonna put a bet on you lot to win our division so dont let me down, and when it happens i expect a pint from all hell
seriously you must be well confident with the signings you have made, you have got to be in with a great chance of winning it
That'll work... and Huddersfield, they're the ones to watch I reckon... Wednesday weren't good enough last year and have only really got Semedo added to their ranks, Blades could go either way depending on if they feel sorry for themselves, but reckon they'll be up there. That's the main competition, other than Wycombe of course.
I have to admit to a shockingly high level of optimism (Although I have refrained from braging about winning the league until the season starts!). Not since the day I worked out Iain (pizza face) Dowie was gonna be left in charge of the club I love has my optimism been higher!
I was going to post something similar on the Wycombe page, except mines a bet re relegation..... Don't let me down!!
Think Huddersfield and Wednesday have sold far better players than they've brought in. In fact I'm not worried at all this season, but I am worried about Preston and Sheffield United. I reckon Bournemouth won't do much either considering we're buying half their team and flogging them our deadwood. I'm worried most however, about whether CP is good enough, don't get me wrong I fully support him, but if this season starts the way last one finished, then we're in serious trouble (especially when considering all the CP signings brought in). They're some of the best players in the league so them suffering from low morale could be catastrophic.
It's everyone's concern, I agree WWOCB... but I'd have that concern whoever was in charge. On paper we should be good enough to go up, and should be better than Preston and Sheff Utd, who, lets face it, are worse than Crystal Palace, as the ol' song goes.
