Had to stop and have a re think yesterday, when I read the article about SB reaction to the supports. We need to keep our station, We are aiming too high,We finished 10th, the supporters need to remember , they need to understand they are aiming too high, They need to remember we are Sunderland.
I hold me hands up lads, as a Geordie who has followed this club for 45 hrs I would`nt `even entertain any debate about SB as I believed we were going in the right direction. Now I have a issue, You know what I am pissed off at, getting the piss ripped out of my club and now I can`t even muster a defence !!. But what is worse is that this manager is now starting to rip the piss out of us.
Question Bruce : What is your expectation for OUR club, I`ll tell you now it will not be as high as OURS, and thats why you are going to fail, we don`t want to go through the motions thats not good enough. Personnally I want every single supporter to have the highest expectations and if we fall a tad short, so be it , but we will understand that we are strieving to get there. We don`t` need to remember who we are, you need to understand who we are !!.

45 hrs following the club? Lol

Joking apart mate, excellent post. We are a proud club with a rich and distinguished history but sadly that history is over 75 years ago. If we are to rekindle that glorious past, we need a manager that believes in that too.

Bruce is never going to be that man imo, as he is too scared of failing to ever succeed and he is now actually the problem and not the answer.

Would someone like Martin O Neill make the difference? Yes imo as he can recall a time when we were still a giant in the game, in the 50's and a time where he had Sunderland as a club he did follow as a boy.
