In all fairness, Gael was my motm against Vile and who knows Bigi may well use the opportunity to force himself in the Midfield 3 and push Anita to the full back position in the long term.

I'd have no qualms with that.

Me neither, I like him. Seeing Roman Sterling being called up for England makes me hope Bigi follows shortly.

He probably has more potential than Sterling.

Yes but Stirling plays for a fashionable club.

For everything we do and achieve the FA still won't acknowledge our players.

So we're not going to be castrating today? This forum has gone downhill with it's human rights and civility... I had a butter knife ready and everything...

Oh well, Tiote is a big blow for us, but I'd rather we waited on him coming back than rushed him back, as it sometimes seemed last year. Bigi and Anita would probably contest it, but it might be worth having a punt on Gosling (if he's fit). I think he's the tallest midfielder we have, and if we stuck him on Fellaini, he probably wouldn't win a header, but he could challenge him and make the knock-down play less effective. Just a thought!

My old headmaster had been a pro footballer and he took us for practise on Friday afternoons, one of the tips he passed onto us was, if you're going into a heading duel with a taller opponent, just give him a gentle touch on the back before he leaps and it'll put him off balance enough for you to win the ball.

Losing him happens around 10-15 times a season, so we gotta get used to it anyway. The problem we have is in having not bought a right back, our cover has to fill in there, so we're sticking a teenager in.

I fancy this will be a comfortable night for Everton and in a couple of months time I wonder how happy Pardew will be with the Summer transfers....

If it's height we're after, Vukic would be the choice.

If it's pugnacious reluctance to be overawed, then Bigi is a good choice.

Tiote is a loss, but if the defence backs Bigi up, and if our fron men can get their act together, we should be able to make it a decent game.

Certainly, this is going to see Bigi growing up faster than anyone anticipated - - the reward will be fantastic if we end up with twin Tiotes (especially behind double Dembas)

Conclusive proof that it is not the influx of cheating foreign players that has ruined our great game but your old headmaster and yourself AB, I hope retrospective caning is brought back immediately.

I don't like to use this toad as an example of initiative and skill but Michael Owen, he's 5'8 and a fair share of his goals are headers.

Not because he's a beast in the air or his height but he has a way of leaving any marker for dead in set pieces.

If we too use our skull sponges too nullify the threat and presence of the giant with a 70's haircut we can take all 3 points at Goodison Park on Monday.

I remember the first time I went fishing with my dad and had a go at casting. I thought I'd got an instant bite and furiously wound the line back in only to realise I'd caught a bloke by the knackers who was swimming with his kids.

He screamed at me " You useless ba*tard can't you cast straight "

I can now laugh in his face as I've become one of the world's leading authorities on circumcission which pays me very handsomely and I get to keep all the tips.

You should have said no, but you hope to be able to in the future.
