Iôm not sure this will be a cruise Even if theyôre still feeling the blues, From that 0-6 game They were tough to tame First time round, to give them their dues I remember they made us look poor That night and that the 3-1 score, Did not really tell Just how very well They played, which we shouldnôt ignore But since then weôve gone different ways So it should be one of those days, For three points at home In the Delia Dome But this game can still always amaze Especially this league above all Where no game is easy to call, So hope for the best But be prepared, lest They donôt just obligingly fall Watch out for some after-effect From a side just recently wrecked, Two games on the spin 9 goals have gone in And none in return, so expect... ...them to fight and scrap constantly And not give us anything for free, But here in our joint It would disappoint If last weekôs point, this time wasnôt three. OTBC
Hi RBF - these are the very games to worry about! When you're expecting a nice easy game, it can turn round and bite you know where
Doncaster are without their 3 best and only goal threats. I honestly can't see us doing anything other then winning this game - it would be like us playing without Holt/Hoolahan/Lansbury!
Youôre right Marsupial they have been hit badly by injuries, but Iôll still be happier once itôs over and the three points are ours.
There's a thread on 606 with a link to a Donny's site, saying they want the game called off because they've only got 13 fit players (http://www.drfc-vsc.co.uk/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=999999&id=142746&Itemid=97) Just imagine, if you could get a game called off because you couldn't field your strongest team, the season would last forever!!!
Heard this morning on Radio Norfolk Doncaster tried to postpone the game but Norwich have confirmed the game WILL GO AHEAD!! OTBC!! Hope Holty, Hoolahan, Lansbury, etc bag a few goals each in a convincing win tonight
Well, you guys where right to be so nervous... massively disappointing result today, but we are only 3 points from second still. Not sure how to fell about it to be honest; it undoes our hard work vs Leeds - we'd of been better losing there and winning here! Our playoff place isn't looking very safe anymore, it's that tight. No more slips like this though, and I still believe we can finish top 2! Barsnley have just sent out a warning in their match vs Leeds if you ask me.
Marsupial, I think the result last night was a lot down to the Leeds game on Saturday. They certainly sounded tired and uninspired from the start, and thereôs no doubt that Saturdayôs game took it out of them physically and mentally. I donôt think itôs any coincidence that Leeds also dropped two home points yesterday, in a game they would be expected to win. I fancy we should see a rejuvenated City this Saturday, whether thatôs enough to win, I donôt know, but I reckon we may see a couple of new faces from the start (Surman and Jackson?)
