No Dolman open unless demand is there.

Well i do not want to sit in the bad view williams, and i hate sitting at one end,i prefer a side view.

We have been kicked out of Dolman block A after purchasing them at the season start, then told pretty much where we could have seats in the Dolman stand.

The two end blocks have been empty with no work all season so far.

Now the club say they are not opening Dolman stand, well i can tell you we won't be attending the replay, even though we would have if we could sit in seats we wish.

If they open up the stand then we will purchase.if not we will stay away.

I would have thought we would have sold the ground out with the appeal of the hammers/everton tie.

it is shut due to construction works that day as a one off, not due to a lack of demand!

Where have they said that? I collected tickets from the shop today and was told it was shut due to construction works? The demand is clearly there, there was a steady stream of people wanting tickets and ST holders wanting their Dolman seats..

Just because it's not open that day don't mean that's the day they are starting work, it will take a few days at least to put the stantions in and pass all safety certs.
They could be starting Sunday and it will take 8 days. If they decide to hold back because Red Robin complains it puts the work back by a week going on and into the JPT game and the FA cup game. Also could be restricting a rugby game.
So for one game they are asking for us to support the building works by sitting in the other stands.

It was on the main site, and when i spoke to club the guy said the Dolman will open if required.

I see people over on otib are moaning they cannot book their st seats in the dolman,i think many of us are waiting for the Dolman to be opened.
We as sts should be able to sit in our seats, that is one of the perks of buying a ST.

This game if marketed right would be a full house.

Sts should have had first dibs, then anybody who buys a ticket would be guaranteed a hammers, everton ticket.

    A no brainer really.:emoticon-0140-rofl:

The end blocks are empty because City have lost an exit at the Dolman - Southstand/ EE end all season.

Its all to do with Elf and safety both end blocks are not being used because of the lack of gates, apparently you can only have a certain amount of people in the Dolman because in the case of an emergency they will all be using the one exit gate! Apparently when they start on the lower Dolman these two end blocks will be reopened.

Make sence,it would have been nice to be told facts by the club,15+ years sat in Dolman A ,purchased as normal last year, then told to move, with bad availiable seats left.
Glad when the work will be finished, and we have our shiny new stadium.
