****ing typical Cairney, every pass is either sideways or backwards or he's getting out of position. Why would you play him up front when you've got David Dunn in your midfield? Surely you're better putting Cairney in midfield and giving Dunn a free role?
I can't understand for the life of me why you'd play him up front. He isn't particularly strong or mobile and you wouldn't fancy him to turn a man or win a header. Surely you'd want a player like him in the middle, getting on the ball and looking up for a pass whenever possible. He's not like a Koren type player who you can understand playing further forward, he's purely a playmaker.
Blackburn have a ****e manager who if im correct has 1 point out of 9 thus far? And he subbed cairney for evans when 2-0 down
I wasn't watching the game, was that to make the kind of change I suggested for Dunn? Or was it just to shore up the midfield?
Whenever I hear of David Dunn, this is the first thing that comes to mind:
He was still picked as part of the midfield for Blackburn against Donny. Swapping the roles of Cairney and Dunn within that starting lineup would surely have given them a better team than the one the one they ended up with.
That's brilliant. I also like the Jason Koumas one where he's about to cross it but just collapses with no one around. It's hard to tell what actually makes him fall over.
Was just looking for a video of Tyrone Mears when he fell over at Turf Moor & got the penalty, couldn't find one though. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/8333572.stm
That was ridiculous. He swung to cross it, missed the ball, went off balance and ended up on his arse but got a penalty for it
