I can see that you guys have signed Donnelly Wanted to know how well he done for you when on loan last season. Would he be able to get into our squad or do you eventually think he will sign for you permanently?? Cheers guys
At the start of the loan spell, he looked poor, but ever since the oxford match in mid april he looked like one of the best players on our team. I think he played a huge part in our promotion, as he linked defense to attack really effectively, as well as making runs and scoring goals. Is he good enough for Swansea? Maybe if they get relegated, but i dont think he's premier league standard.
Hi Jimmy. Firstly congrats on getting to the PL. I bloody hate Cardiff so was well chuffed that you got there before them Donnelly was fantastic for us in the final 3rd of the season. He suffered from injuries when we first got him but has flourished since. I agree with theblues, I would imagine Swansea may want him back if they go back down but I dont think he is PL quality. Looks to me like Swansea are being canny in letting him out on loan with a view to selling to us or someone else at this level whilst keeping the possibilty of having him back at a later date. Either way we are glad to have him for the coming season. Good luck in the PL, should be a cracking season
