Maybe he was called back because we failed to get any real class in the transfer window and seen as a better backup than N Gog and Emnes? Just speculating
Hope it's nothing too bad. Was looking forward to seeing how he would get on with a string of games. Can't afford to let him rot with no game time as it stands
I've got Donnelly in my " Jazz " folder , players that should get a bit of a chance but don't , Richards is the King of that dilemma . Hope there isn't friction between clubs or with the player.Apparently it's for " personal reasons " . The clubs are trying to work something out , but if he stays with us he won't be able to play for our under 21's
Donnelly May be back but he is still a Coventry player and cannot play for swansea until next May at the earliest
Sent him out to get more playing time and now he may not be able to play anywhere , lawyers may get involved here and everyone loses
Doesn't matter if he doesn't play a minute , he signed till seasons end , he can only play for Coventry
I was really impressed by Donnelly in the match against Cardiff. He played on the wing - or at least that's where he stood flapping his arms about requesting the ball to be played to him. Seemed very eager to contribute and scored a goal. His return is a disappointment for everyone involved - especially himself.
So he is gonna be back for the season but unable to play a game. I hope this is the right choice as this could really harm his chances of development
