donnelly out for 3 months

The club have announced that donnelly is to have an operation on his ankle, he will be out for at least 3 months.whilst I appreciate he would have been our third chhoice striker, this injury makes it even more important to keep boney,we need more than 1 front line striker at the club

 

Did somebody kick him or is this a fatigue, wear and tear injury.

 

It is a shame for him, it was a very nasty challenge and the one thing that worries me when we play league2 opposition in friendlies. Luckily it wasnt someone important. He would have had no Pl game time anyway, so no big loss in terms of that.

Still think we will bring in another attacking anyway, Bony even if he stays would be out for the whole of january and would only leave Gomis a PL class striker.
