Did someone sexually abuse him at the club? What's with all the cloak & daggers. Going on about stories being made up about him (by LFC) every week. I wish we'd heard these stories! I bloody hope we aren't still paying this tossers wages.
Found a link on the Doni situation: http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport...-silence-on-his-liverpool-fc-absenteeism.html Some interesting quotes to say the least... First of all, we haven't heard ANYTHING on Doni since the summer. So i'm not too sure where he gets the 'Every hour they invent a new story' line from. Strange... His contract will be cancelled (Mutual consent) and he'll be gone in the new two weeks. That's what I think will happen.
http://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/liverpool-fc/1218149-alexander-doni-breaks-silence-on-his-liverpool-fc-absenteeism.html iPhone so someone might need to repost. http://m.sambafoot.com/en/news/42088_liverpool_s_doni_says_truth_will_surface_over_situation_at_club.html Actually: apologies folks. I misread the first post. He's talking about the press making up stories not LFC. But still, why the cloak & dagger & is he getting paid to sun himself in Miami?
I imagine that he broke a clause in his contract, we refused to pay his wages because he didn't adhere to the contract and he's got his solicitors on the case. Liverpool have forbidden him to talk about it due to the fact they don't want more bad press, so we're making up excuses instead. That's what I think has happened anyway.
Can someone link me to any of these mentioned reports? All I can remember seeing is a post in October last year saying he was on his way back to Melwood soon.
Doni had a dodgy knee, no doubt some clause was wrote into his contract if he plays a certain amount of games etc. he'll get better terms. Then he wasn't being picked because of Pepe and the club trying to tell him he was injured when he wasn't. (hence solicitors, and Miami. Dr.Richard Schaeffer is based in Miami and one of the leading knee specialists) Probably getting the Doc to prove his knee wasn't injured in the past 12 months (2011-2012) and then gonna sue the club.
Well, if you aren't injured and you don't make yourself available (and not even being in the country would probably be classed as that) then you are in breach of contract.
As long as the club isn't doing the insurance company thing of reterming the definition of injury or sticking in a "pre-existing" just to save a quid, I'll stand by my wobbly standing.....
Lol Dave: can we convince the mods to have a Statler & Waldorf thread? We'd be great: although MITO should join too ha ha ha.
