Last season went in the morning, bought tickets, went shopping and had lunch, than went to the match. No problems getting tickets.
Most new grounds are like that, including ours (if you call it new after playing there for almost 10 years). Infact that's even more depressing, the fact we've not been able to get an atmosphere going at the circle since 2002, apart from for the occassional big match or two.
Donny's ground is small and they dont even have it half full! We dont have much of an atmosphere @ KC but we usually get the numbers
I haven't been to the Keepmoat but it can't be any worse than Coventry's (which is the the worst of the newer ground imo). How many does it hold? 2OK? I'm sure like any team with a small catchment area that they'd easily fill the ground with a bit of success.
That's a lie, it's been a bit quiet over the last year or so which shares a direct correlation with the excitement of the football played at home games. In the promotion season when the football was amazing, the crowd were too.
I don't know if it's still the same, but a month or two back I looked at train tickets to Lincoln. You have to change at Donny. It was cheaper to get tickets for Lincoln than it was to Donny, even though it was the same train. So for anyone looking at the train, I'd suggest checking the price of tickets to Lincoln and just not bothering with the extra bit of the journey.
Donny have a designated away end of 3,300ish and don't ever allocate more. I think your Ticket Office are wrong.
Donny's ground holds 15k and they average over 10k, so it's not that bad for the size of the place(way better than Scunny anyway). The maximum away allocation is roughly 3,344.
