Can we begin as we mean to go on by picking up 3 points?
Crikey the new season already! Well I'm honest enough to admit I don't know much about this new set up of ours and am unlikely to until I see our first home game. So sadly people I have to predict a Gills loss, based on Doncaster from last season and their home advantage. I see Steve347 has predicted Marquis as the scorer, but looking at the news in the last 24 hours he has gone to Pompey... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49186422 Anyway... Doncaster 2-0 Gillingham (Marshall 2)
The first one of the season, come on you Gills. Sky are predicting Doncaster to finish in the playoff places, and Gills to be fighting relegation, but according to Resurgam they were tipped for relegation last season so championship here we come. Doncaster 1 v 2 Gillingham (Wilks, Hanlan, List)
Great to see members returning for the start of the new football season. It's going for it's eleventh season now, and considering how much has changed in social media since we first started, it makes it all worth while. A lot of that thanks goes to patchy70 who kept it going when I stepped down. Just so everyone knows, JAMES THE GILLS MAN has been working on another approach to the club pre season, in regards to a donation of a prize for the winner come season end. It's still work in progress at the moment but I will keep all updated.
Despite my misgivings about SE as our manager that's based mostly on his character, not his coaching ability. Was going to go to this one but I've got dog sitting duties instead. Doncaster 1 - 3 Gillingham (Hanlan, Mandron, Ehmer) Not really been following the ins and outs so totally in the dark about potential scorers really..
