I don´t really think Wigan are quite as poor
As their lowly place would suggest,
Their problem seems to be that they just can´t score:embarrassed:
Even when the chances are the best

    v. Swansea I thought that they´d pick up a win
And I´m sure they expected to too,<grr>
So like us, I guess that when this game begins
They´ll be looking to put right a few...

..of last weekend´s mishaps, because very soon
Those chances will start running out,<yikes>
So when we take them on Sunday afternoon
It may not be a one-sided bout

Ideally of course, two quick goals at the start<party>
Then sit back and hit on the break,
Would make for a relaxing day, and a heart
That did neither flutter nor ache

But so very rarely do games go as planned
I´ve given up hope on that score,<doh>
And any sort of win here that we can land
We should greet with a Canary roar

And be not disheartened <wah> should it take a while
For I think, out of those bottom five,
Wigan are just better than the rest of the pile
And could keep their league place alive

But we´ll want to get back to our winning ways:1980_boogie_down:
And this looks like the perfect chance,
And three points here would certainly help allay
Any fears creeping into our stance

Martinez though, I like, and how he gets his team
To play, much like our Lambert P,
With free flowing football on whatever scene
    Except maybe at Stoke City:emoticon-0108-speec

And so this game should be pleasing on the eye:emoticon-0103-cool:
If both teams produce what they can,
And goals too would be nice, as it´s live on Sky
More to us though, would fit with the plan. OTBC

Hi RBF, let's hope there will be no repeat of Donny last year, when most thought all we had to do was turn up for the points! <yikes>

Wigan do play attractive football, with a couple of players to watch out for! <ok>

Let's hope we're not saying "Holy Moses!" at the final whistle!

I don't think anyone underestimates anyone in this league. Wigan have been in a few scrapes in their Premier League history but have managed to survive. They have a good manager and play good football. They are not going to roll over. Think we will win, but would settle for a point.

one thing is for sure, win, lose or draw, it'll be far more pleasing on the eye than the stoke match!
