Seeing as AVB wants to win everything this season, thought it would be apt start a thread for the domestic cups COC(league cup) & FA cup .

We have been drawn away to Villa in the next round of the COC.
Not ideal but a tie we should win.
 
I felt sorry for Villa with the tough start they had and I think they'll do okay this season, a few wins against lower clubs will boost their confidence. They beat Arsenal and were unlucky against the luckiest team on the planet(typical Chelsea) and were a bit jaded for their match against Pool so now I expect them to start getting more favourable results for themselves.
 
Winning the League Cup is a double edged sword. On the one hand it's a trophy, on the other it often leads to teams slacking off for the remainder of the season as European football is confirmed (cases in point: Spurs in 1999 and 2008, Birmingham in 2011, Liverpool in 2012, Swansea in 2013)
