There were reports that a very small minority of Chelsea supporters failed to fully respect the one minute silence in memory of the 96 Liverpool supporters who lost their lives at Hillsborough on 15 April 1989.
At the Swansea game on Sunday - live on TV - the Chelsea scum sang through the min silence to remember the Hillsborough lives lost. They are scum. Nothing new.
I don't want to appear 'holier than thou' but to tar all Chelsea fans with the same brush is a sweeping statement. I know for sure that we have our own supporters who have shown disrespect in the past, to believe otherwise is somewhat naive. We live in a liberal society, and whilst I find this hugely insensitive and offensive, I accept that the price of liberty means that we have to indulge a small minority of individuals that exercise their right to express an opinion that is found to be odious to myself and probably most others. Shame on them for their ignorance.
Obviously a minority but is this a surprise? I'd have been more surprised if it was impeccably observed.
