Doh either Knills put his foot in his gob or it could spell trouble for Bury

He's either slightly honest or very stupid. If he leaves then full marks for being honest (ish) - not sure about the "if I'm totally honest I haven't got a clue" comment. He must have a clue to come out and try to appear to be honest about it. If he doesn't go then I can only conclude that perhaps he is stupid.

That's the drawback of having success at this level, bigger clubs will be sniffing around your manager and you can't blame them for wanting to take that step up. If we go up this season then we'll have to expect some interest in Waddock too.

As for Knill's comments, doh indeed. Why say anything at all, it just unsettles your team at a crucial point of the season.

Confirmed that Knill has gone to Scunthorpe and rumours of Paul Simpson or Iain Dowie taking over at Bury. Time will tell if this is a good or bad thing for Bury's promotion chances, you have to feel sorry for them after being so close the past couple of seasons but it'll be good for us if one of our promotion rivals falters. Especially with us having to play at their place next month.
