Sorry about that :( Hope everyone avoided like the plague

Just got back off holiday - didn't have a great internet connection on phone and haven't spoken to the owner yet, but was deffo "expected". Not sure of it's future entries.

I rarely bet on dogs for that reason, it's tricky enough trying to work out what dogs the best, without having to rely on luck in running:biggrin:*

Can't be any trickier than wondering what Jamie Spencer is going to do.

The thing that winds me up with Spencer, is he tries to come from last to first on everything he rides. It looks good when it comes off, but far to often he cocks it up.*

The best jockeys keep things simple. Johnny Murtagh is the best example of how to keep things simple, he always has his horses well positioned:biggrin:

Spencer is just a muppet. It's okay when you are on top class horses who you know are good enough, but in handicaps wherehorses are split by a couple of pounds in the ratings, its unforgiveable to consistently hold up horses so far off the pace. He is the one jockey who aggravates me the most (after Kieron "I'm laying my horses on Betfair" Fallon) and watching him makes you appreciate how good Frankie Dettori is at judging the pace. Yet the minute you back against him he is likely to go and steal a race from the front.

It's a real shame Kieron Fallon did what he did, or was alleged to have done what he did. It's bit like Harry Redknapp in football, everyone knows he was guilty, yet he got off.*

Fallon back 10 years ago was the best jockey I have ever seen, he was far better than any jockey riding today. I remember that famous ride on Kris Kin in the Derby, you will never see a jockey drive a horse in a finish better than that, he might aswell of carried the horse over the line.*

It's just such ashame that the best jockey of that generation will always be remembered as a cheat, rather than the genius he was:biggrin:*

Milk Shake got off as well on appeal. Is she still with him?

I guess it's possible to hold a horse up 4 lengths off the pace, 6 lengths off the pace or 12 lengths off the pace. Depends how much you've laid it for <laugh>
