Only edited one comment; you posted a long comment that literally said nothing of note so I changed it to "blah blah blah" because, quite frankly, I thought it was funny

 

I love football - including the ups and downs. Of course I'm frustrated at bad results and poor displays at the time, but in the long-term that's what holds one's interest.
Constantly winning - or losing - would make the whole thing routine and it would lose its edge then. Wondering how you climb back from being crap and getting behind the team to do so is part of being a Liverpool fan for me.
It's part of the entertainment.
The only thing that really threatens my devotion to it is the constant tinkering which is inexorably taking the game further away from the one I fell in love with in the first place.
