Sometimes the club I love makes me so angry.

Because I live 2 hours from Bristol parking at the ground is really important. So every year I have bought a car park ticket in the Midas Car Park on Winterstoke Road for the season. It’s expensive but necessary.
I telephoned the club today to buy my ticket for the Fleetwood game – and my season ticket seat was still available. So all good so far.

However, I was then told I would have to pay to park because it was a cup game. I said that in the previous 6 years I have never had to do that. The guy on the phone said it had changed in the Summer!! So on top of what I already pay, I also have to pay £10 to park the car for a Cup match.

I’ve decided not to go to the game – so the club has missed out on what I would spend on a ticket, programme and food.

Another great piece of customer service by Bristol Sport.

The club, even before the Ogre that Bristol Sport now appears to be evolving into, has always treated the fans as second class citizens in my nearly 50 years of following City.

Ok we have a nice ground now, but it's not been done just for the benefit of the FC, but to further line the pockets of others.

Recent results and post Xmas blues will be a factor. We'll do well to get 10,000 I think.

I had a reply from the club - they said it was in the small print and they did that so not to put the prices up

Do they think we are stupid - 2 home cup games (Hull and Fleetwood) - increase of £20 so far

Think how many cup games there will be next year when we play in the Football League Trophy as well as the League Cup and FA Cup (1st Round)

You must admit that being in League One and playing in the tin pot trophy is a much better source of revenue than filling the house in the Championship. What am I saying? What is he doing?

I could go on and on.. lets just say the experience is not the best and the people in the restaurant below get far better treatment. The food is rubbish, we had to beg the first few weeks to get cider upstairs.. the people who make decisions at Ashton gate are rank amateurs. Even getting some mint sauce to go with a lamb meal is a ****in chore.. It was way better in the Heineken lounge, I went back there for the rugby on boxing day and it was just a better experience.

    Absolutely disgusting
Let's be fair for the money paid you expect something special.
We were serious about looking into a box with two other companies, but you have completely put me off looking into that possibility.
Thanks for the heads up on your experience.

I went in a box for a Christmas meal and then tour, could not get any gravy! Waitress looked and sounded like Vladamir Putins sister. If you are doing hospitality at least provide English speakers.

Are there actually any left in England anymore? When I went to Wembley for the Paint trophy I though we had taken a wrong turning and were in Baghdad.

Every time I come back I see a little bit more of England disappearing in a shroud of political correctness towards people who don't give a damn about the country except for the benefits offered.
