More or less likely to happen now?

Lets be honnest Mayweather only demanded blood tests because he feared Pacquiao's power.

Marquez did have faith in his skills, tactics, chin and heart, seems like Mayweather never.

But does Mayweather get a bit braver now and will finally step to face Pacquiao, or will he say he doesn't want Pacquiao now because he thinks Marquez beat him?

Or will the fans demand a Marquez vs Pacquiao rematch now?

    Poll comming!!!!

I think it is more likely to happen now as Mayweather will be laughing at the idea that Pac could ever beat him.

Not going to get into why blood test's were not taken because I think it's a pointless argument.

You seem to be suggesting that Mayweather is/was scared of Pac. That's your opinion but I would not agree with that.

Not sure how Mayweather play's this one but I think the ball is firmly in his court now. He could favour a rematch between Pac and JMM which the fan's will prob want and that could go either way.

I think JMM deserves a rematch but I don't think he will get it.

The fact that Mayweather asked for extra tests proved that he was weary of Pacquiao.

    Marquez was not.

If Mayweather were to fight and beat Pacquiao now, he will not get the credit he would have done prior to this Marquez fight.

People are saying that Pacquiao has lost speed and is past his prime now.

If Mayweather decides to take the fight now, it just looks like he waited for Pacquiao to slow down.

But styles make fights and I would still favour Pacquiao to beat Mayweather should they fight, but Marquez performance shows Mayweather's stance up a bit IMO.

How can you say this unless you have some insight knowledge about Mayweather that the rest of us don’t, Mayweather wanted a blood test because it is clearly unusual how a boxer who started at light flyweight can keep his speed and power going up so many weights, he even looked massive against the likes of Cotto and Mosley which is very strange.

The fight last night removed all doubts for me that Mayweather would beat Pacquiao easily, just look at what Marquez had done to him in these 3 fights and Mayweather is far more talented than marquez. The Mosley fight illustrated how to beat pacquaio by moving away from his left hand thus stopping his greatest weapon.

I believed that Mayweather would destroy Pacquiao before but now im convinced, Marquez had beaten pacquaio 3 times and hasn’t got the decision his way

Mayweather has said as much, about Pacquiao moving up in weight and KOing Hatton and Cotto, he said it was not natural.

He also said he just trying to make boxing safe and one can cause damage and that why he wants extra test.

He made these demands for the first round of negotiation for the fight with Pacquiao.

He was worried about Pacquiao power.

Pacquiao was the same weight against Mosley, Cotto as he was when he faced Marquez last night.

The fact is Mayweather made excuses, Marquez got on with the job, and never doubted his ability.

You fail to mention all the demands Pacquaio had for the Mayweather fight most of which were ridicules yet Mayweather still accepted them. As much as i dislike Mayweather you know what you get with him while Pacquaio is incredibly sly, how can he look at the camera and say he won last nights fight is incredible especially when he was almost in tears before that, even Freddie Roach said multiple times in the corner "your losing it and your falling behind" someone even said he needed a knockout to win which was true.

to answer the pole I hope Mayweather vs Pacquaio fight happens but i doubt it very much especially considering Pacquaio dodged the question last night.

Pacquiao said lets get it on last night.

Pacquiao never asked for blood tests, he never went on vacation, he never said he needed warm up fights, he never said he had to deal with his legal problem or that he was not thinking about boxing and wanting to spend time with his familly.

Marquez show not only Pacquiao up but Mayweather too with his performance.

Pacquiao knew he had not won that fight, never raised his hands at the final bell, but the fight was close. No fighter really dominated in any round.

Pacquaio said "I clearly won the fight" and it wasn’t close at all Marquez won at least 9 rounds out of the 12 although i think he won 10 of them.

Pacquaio has constantly mentioned his fear of blood and reluctance to use needles yet he seems to get a new tattoo after every fight. Pacquaio got asked about Mayweather and he side stepped the question mentioning his political career as well as saying it "not up to me" he doesn’t want the fight due to the fact that Mayweather would beat him.

I’m not saying Mayweather isn’t at fault because he is as well but to claim that he doesn’t want to fight Pacquaio over fear of his power is ludicrous, why did he fight Marquez, Mosley, Hatton, Dela hoya etc if he was afraid of his opponents power. All of these fighters are not for hitting hard and Mosley is arguably the hardest hitter in that weight division.

That’s your own opinion I had it very differently but our opinions don’t compare to boxing experts who incidentally had Marquez winning 9 or 10 rounds the only ones who said the fight was close were Pro Pacquaio, everyone else including the neutral spectators had Marquez winning comfortably.

I strongly disagree with your scorecard because Marquez should have won the fight comfortably.

Another person who agrees with me, everyone bar a few Pacquaio supports had Marquez winning comfortably and I honestly could see any other result than a Marquez unanimous decision, sadly that’s not what we got last night

You do realise that means we only differed on one round then, and there were quite a few close rounds.

That was by me just looking at a few highlights of each round. Having watched the full match, i would say Marquez had 9-3 in his favor. Most of the boxing experts are all saying that Marquez won the fight comfortably.

A rematch is pointless - having the same fight 4 times is way beyond boring for me.

Let's have Money vs Pac so we can all go home! <ok>

Its pointless because no matter what he does Marquez cant get the decision, unless he knocks out Pacquaio. Mayweather vs Pacquaio would be a great fight if only to see Mayweather demolish Pacquaio. Mayweather is a horrible person but he is one hell of a fighter, as much as it pains me to admit it he is the best fight in the world right now and nobody can touch him in this respect.
