Just wondering how much it matters to people on here where we move to. I mean, of course i would and do want to stay in W12 as its our home BUT it wouldnt effect me in my support for the team if we moved to Harrow, Uxbridge or even somewhere in North West London.
I'd still be getting a season ticket and still be there cheering on the team week in and week out.
Are there any on here who would not renew there season tickets, or decide not to visit a new stadium purely because of the fact that it isnt in W12 or thereabouts ??
    Just curious.

I would always support QPR, but it is important that we stay in W12. The location is perfect for an ambitous club due to the surrounding fanbase and good transport links.

It's possible one of the reasons we have international interest in ownership may be as simple as we're a club (with a proud history) that's dead easy to reach from Heathrow. Why would busy Italians want to travel all the way over to Charlton or Crystal Palace? Who wants to go to Millwall? West London is very convenient. I wouldn't want to go far from it, and I like the ethnic diversity and vibrancy of Shepherd's Bush.

I would still go, it just wouldn't be the same. Hate all the rebranding going on across some clubs, don't want us to be the same.

Correct. It was the location which attracted the F1 crowd and which continues to be attractive to the money men in based in the Kensington area. Note that they didn't buy Watford, Brentford or Barnet.

Don't we have the record as the team that's moved home ground most in the entire football league?

    Spot on.

Personally I wouldn't want to step foot in Bermondsey, Eltham/Charlton or Upper Norwood

I really like South/West London for the same reasons as you've listed

stay in W12 for me. I don't want to be some souless club stuck on the side of a motorway complete with some Homebase store and no identity. SB is where we are from and we should stay there.

Im sure we all(including the board) want to stay near our roots, but it might be out of our hands at the end of the day, with planning restrictions, money, timings, etc. Anyway, nothing will happen for 3 years anyway!

We have to stay close to where we are if were going to have a concert venue and/or hotel.

Its doesnt have to be the immediate area but need to be within 3 or 4 miles and have good tube/rail/road links.

It was mentioned in another thread, but for 3 years in an 18-19k stadium, without any form of european football, could we survive the wage bill?

Don't forget the Westfield factor. I've always thought that we would end up with a stadium, hotel and casino. Drop the trophy wife off for the jewellery shops, lose a few grand at the casino, watch the Mighty Hoops (with prawn sandwiches sadly) and then retire to the hotel for a long night of sleep! Not original idea - we have bounced this round on 606 when Bernie and Flav took over. Won't work in Harrow.

Some interesting and credible answers but the point of the post has possibly been lost.
Yes, we all want to stay in the W12 area or as near as possible but IF we did move out further afield, would it effect your decision to actually attend matches or even renew your season ticket ? Is the thought of moving away from SB too much to take and would mean you to stop coming, even with fantastic facilities in a brand spanking new 40,000 seater stadium.
    Again, just curious

Rangers are my team, always have been and always will be, I would watch them no matter where we played but just feel it should still be West London. Not just for sentimental reasons but also we have absolutely everything you would need to attract new supporters in our locality and that is what we need. Dont really want to be sharing an area with another team ala FFC + Scum..
