I know it's sometimes said that life mirrors the fortunes of your football team. Your team doing well all is rosy as work, etc, etc. But has anyone else noticed how the people you know somehow get drawn into your football web. My dad is a Sheffield United fan, and my best friend is a Palace fan. So it really came as no surprise when Warnock moved to the hoops, in fact I was expecting it! It goes without saying that the number of players that have moved between the 3 clubs is high as well. Now I know it's got sod all to do with what I've just said, but it does feel that way sometimes! As an aside about 13 years ago when Palace were one league above QPR, I bet my mate that we would be one league above them within 3 years. It only took 12! Anyone else got any stories about how it sometimes feels that your life has influenced the fortunes of QPR?
I had a bet on the Hoops to win the Championship 3 years on the trot and we almost got relegated, last year i backed Reading, the rest is history.I reckon someone somewhere owes me a large one!! By the way don't worry i haven't had a bet on them this year.
Last year was the only year I didnt back Rangers to win the league in 10 years!! And look what happened!
Sometimes when living abroad I'd deliberately avoided following results in case my support hexed them!
This lad has a bit of character. He tends to shake it up a bit when he logs on. How come you only post about once a fortnight, LIUTB?
my life is as perfect as it has ever been up to date and QPR is on par with it so far. lets hope it gets better!
