Off Topic Does anyone know Musty personally.

On the cancer thread , musty said he was taking his wife whale watching for " The " weekend , Not sure ihe meant the weekend upcoming , if it was just around Swansea , not really mention if he would be in a boat .That was a while back, maybe 3 weeks or a month.
A whale watching boat sank off the coast of British Columbia , Canada on the west coast this weekend .
they saved 20 or so lives but 5 British people drowned and an Australian is missing.
Am I reading to much into this ? Does anyone know how to get hold of him?

 

I don't know him personally Roof. Hope he's alright.

 

He said something about hoping his driving doesn't freak out his wife or something so I'm hoping they just drove up the coast that weekend .

 

I hope he and his wife are not one of them, Ill say a little prayer and hope not..

 

The missing bloke is a 27 year old from Sydney. Musty is an old bugger from Brisbane isn't he?

Ditto on his wife daiswan.If Terror is right and it can't be musty then the 5 that drowned were British , God bless them , so it can't be his wife cause I'm assuming she's Australian.IEven if they were there , they would be alright

He's a Scottish bastard who supports the Swans, lives in Australia and frequents the Blue Oyster Club in Freemantle. He'll be fine.

I wonder if Musty stayed a British subject or changed to being an Australian ? 17 days without posting has got me squirming frankly.

 

Nothing to worry about, Roof. I don't think he's been to the UK, or if he has it was when he was a lot younger. Scottish ancestry as I recall. Sorry if I'm wrong on that Musty. I have very fond memories of my time living in Oz. Had things turned out differently I'd still be there probably. As with everything else, life plays some silly tricks sometimes.

Think it's an age thing Valley. I don't see anything wrong in it but younger people may find it antiquated.

I'm not sure about his citizenship status Roof. Think he was born here but went to Oz when young. Again my memory may be playing tricks.

 

I only ask because of the 5 British people who drowned , 2 had addresses in Canada.Maybe Musty never changed nationalities which sends up another red flag for me .Im sure Musty will pop up sooner or later , I hope sooner because I'm a life support system for worry.

 

Wasn't he born in Scotland and moved out as a youngster? Surely would have claimed full Aussie citizenship?
