Does anyone know about a "behind closed doors friendly with Leeds tonight?

A poster on the Leeds board has suggested that we are playing Leeds at Elland Road tonight - I hadn't heard that, nor have I seen it advertised - Anyone else heard this, or is he wrong?

 

I doubt this tbh, why would we play a team behind closed doors when Leeds could make loads of money from it?

 

Not like captain birdseye to miss a trick and trouser some more money!

 

Players like Alie Sesay and Liam Moore are playing.

It's nothing major

 

Sven said we are not entering a reserve league and he will pick and choose times and teams for our second string to play behind closed doors. This fits the bill?

 

It's true, in fact it's been played and we won 3-2 .

Well either way then we won and scored 3 goals haha. Well the 2 people I heard scored (Grella and Payne) are our 5th choice striker and a youth forward respectively. I do know Andy O'Brien was playing though to get back to fitness, apart from that I have no idea.

 

We we're playing 17 year olds

 

Yeah, bet it was a youth academy team, with Adam Smith and Jeffrey Schlupp, maybe Yann too?

 

I'd guess the likes of Moreno, Crncic & N'Guessan were playing as well. So it was basically our youth team and members of our 'C' team .

McCormack's ahead in the pecking order. A bit unfair to be claiming that about our 4th choice because 1st and 2nd are injured!
