People here in Hampshire donning the colours of the top 6 in the Premiership who are Hampshire born and bred. OK if there weren't any clubs here to support but we have a brilliant club here playing in a top-class stadium. I'd even cheer Pompey on whenever may play the likes of the Chavs, Gooners, Spuds, Manure or Liverpool again in the future.
So when you return to work alongside a Chav or Manure supporting colleague just remind him or her what a excellent SFC are!

It's amazing the number of Chelsea fans that have appeared over the years. 10 years ago I knew ONE (1) Chelsea fan and thought it was rare. Nowadays they're everywhere. I find it sad that people come out of the woodwork when their team is doing well or change because they want to support a successful team. Always known lots of L'pool, Man U & Arsenal fans tho since they were kids. It's up to them to pick a team young and stick with them even if it is a team they will never see live!

Happens everywhere. I live in North London, but when I went to Wood Green to buy my son an Arsenal shirt a few years back (yeah, I know, but it's his local team) the guy in the sports shop told me he sold more Man Utd shirts than Spurs and Arsenal put together.

I could well believe it!! It'll be a while before City pick up nationwide, assuming they are going to be successful. I love it when the likes of Wigan and Fulham manage to put one over on the "glory guys."

I don't get too annoyed about it personally, anyone can support who they like as far as I am concerned. I know a few supporters of Utd etc and I think they get bored of firing out their excuses about where they lived when they were young and so on. Some people just support the top teams because they can't deal with not winning most weeks but I suspect they don't really enjoy football as much as the rest of us. Not really bothered about them.

Looking forward to ruffling a few feathers next year (if we get there).

It doesn't bother me if they are proper fans. It's the people who say they support Man Utd but can't even tell you who they are playing at the weekend, that I find annoying.
