Despite telling us that inflation will 'fall off a cliff' in a few months back in February, and by now we'd be in a recession, the Bank of England have just raised interest rates for the 12th consecutive time as the economy is strong. Well done the so called experts yet again who said we would go into the longest recession ever seen.

The Prime Minister has backtracked hugely on the number of EU rules that were supposed to be scrapped by the end of the year.

Starmer keeps changing his mind on what his policies and beliefs are (if he ever has any to start with), and can't tell us what a woman is.

The king (who should be a-political) can't keep his political opinions to himself.

The Archbishop of Canterbury is losing his own parishioners by the bucket load every year, and seeing his bishops defect to the Catholic church because of his woke and non Christian attitudes, but he is condeming the UK Migration Bill as morally wrong. Says he, locked behind solid gates and walls in Lambeth Palace protected from the 'ordinary people'.
Does he not understand that criminal gangs are taking money from people, who then risk their lives crossing the English channel, only to be given to local councils who don't have the houses, money or resources to deal with them in a country whose population grows hugely because of migration to here. That's without the likely additional 700,000 that have been given UK settlements in the last year.
Why does no one in Westminster realise what is going on and just put an end to it ? Who knows, it might even ease the tax burden on everyone else and even help the poor old NHS who apparently can't cope.
Interesting that the EU are now suddenly reintroducing state borders in many countries in order to stop migrants from free travel within Europe who cross the Mediterranean !

A black actress Adjoa Andoh tells us that the family on the Royal Balcony is 'terribly white' what exactly does she expect after 1000 years of selective breeding ? Would a primary family in Africa not be likely to be made up of all black people ? Would they be criticised ?
If this was the other way around, any actor or actress saying those things about a black family would never work again. Why is this being tolerated ? Because it would be called racist if anyone white seriously went after her and tried to bring her to rights. Her comments attracted over 4,000 official complaints.
And as for inclusion and diversity, we apparently have some, but she decided to stay home in California rather than attend the Coronation, and that's because she's hugely unpopular here for her racist attitude and lies.

I mean ffs, you couldn't make this stuff up !

I omitted to mention that we will supposedly be taxed even more and see our energy bills increase soon due to a proposed extra levy on households to pay for Hydrogen production.
Just like the current 5% for renewables on our bills that no one was ever asked about, let alone agreed to

Meanwhile in Spain I am paying 1.29€ a litre for diesel and my last energy bill for April was 67€. Something doesn’t seem right in the UK

Something here most certainly isn't right, and that's an understatement !

Not sure how much Diesel is here right now, but Petrol is about £1.42 a litre

My monthly direct debits for Gas and Electric combined are £180, but I owe British Gas £140 from the last quarter due to the Direct Debit for the Gas element being set too low by them !

I guess living in Spain you don't need the heating on much, if ever, especially if you're in the south, so that would help explain your lower energy costs ?

We live about 5 months of the year here and are all electric including the heating. We didn’t need any heating in April but even when I was running the heating most of the day last November the monthly bill was just over 100€. Similar if we are running the aircon in summer. In the UK my combined gas and electric bill is over £200 a month

To be fair Sir Keir says now that 99.9% of women don't have a penis. This means one in thousand will have a cock.

I have no clue what I'm doing most of the time, but luckily it seems neither does my boss, as he keeps paying me to do it....:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0164-cash::emoticon-0164-cash:

Are you actually living in Spain Raver?
If so you’re a jammy so and so
I’m still trying to persuade my company to make me redundant. No luck so far.
As soon as it happens we’re off to Marbella or Estepona - somewhere around that region.
House here in Swindon is going on the market in 2 years time no matter what. If I’m still working then we’ll rent a 1 bed flat for a while.

Not living here yet still got some commitments in the UK. We manage about 5 months in Spain keeping below the 180 days. I have retired but my wife works remotely from Spain. Looking at the nomad visa for her so we could live here permanently. Seriously bet you can’t wait
