Haven’t watched it after Tennant finished in the role and have no intentions to watch it.

Haven't watched it for a few years, so I thought I would check out Jodie Whittacker as the first female Doctor.

Same old frenetic nonsense aimed at teenagers. It's a thumbs down from me.

I didn't even bother watching it. I persevered through recent years as the stories got sillier and sillier. But to cast a female for the sake of being pc is typical BBC and typical bollocks. Presumably the next Doctor will be a transgender gay midget Asian or such like*

    * I have nothing against transgender gay midget Asians or anyone whatsoever. Just for pc bullshit illustration purposes

There's plenty of good stuff on the BBC. Enjoying Killing Eve. There are good travel documentaries - Joanna Lumley on the Silk Road was very enjoyable (Iran looks a cracking country to visit, except we can't) & Simon Reeve's programmes are always a good watch. He started round the more obscure parts of the Med last night - Malta, southern Italy & Albania.

And there's Strictly of course. All personal taste. I'm guessing you don't watch Strictly, TLF <whistle>

And any Scandi-Noir and I'm hooked...

Ffs even franky boyle has sold out to get back on the box under thier strict control ! Bbc licence must me in top 5 most hated stealth tax in uk !

I have not watched it since David Tennant. Dr Who was always and always will be a man in my eyes Will not watch it on principle now. I am sick to death of watching small ,slight women beating the **** out of big male thugs. It's all nonsense but impressionable people believe it happens in real life. Idon't wish gays or cross gender people any harm but they are a small percentage of the population Yet every modern soap or drama have a gay and some times more than one gay couple. It's political correctness gone mad and this is a cancer in society. It's far better if people say what they think is right as long as they can accept it when there is proof they are wrong.

For me if you like cooking. dancing. buying selling houses and antiques the BBC is great. I can honestly say I very rarely even look at it now, nothing on it for me.

To be fair Dr Who is one of the better programmes compared to some of the other shows mentioned and i was looking forward to watching it, But after all the build up over the past few weeks i found it disappointing and not because the Dr is now a woman but because the acting and storyline was terrible especially for a first comeback episode........OK i will give it another look next week to see if it gets back the "i cant miss element" But it dont look promising......The BBC is an institution but it has gone far to political on the Tory side and has gone down hill imo. There are not many programmes i watch on BBC anymore and Dr Who was one i was looking forward to but it looks and feels nothing like the Dr Who i was expecting....
