Don't worry guys. It's not real. Just my game.

I don't know if you remember I posted a picture a while ago of Rovers on Football Manager being rejected new stadium plans from the local council. That was season 2028/29.

Well now in the following season 2029/30, Rovers has just fallen into administration and been docked 9 points.

    The game don't like us!

    2015 <ok>
As you can see, I am quite a way through it. I have never lasted this long and therefore like to continue with it instead of renewing it each year.

I managed to get Rovers into the Prem in the 2016 game and sold 1800 season tickets, so I fixed the game by adding lots of leagues taking over lots of teams and selling players I didn't want for millions. I won the mickey mouse cup league and F A cup the Europa and Champions league and was undefeated and I only sold 1200 season tickets. I have now deleted that game and started a new one and I am looking at promotion to the championship selling aprox 5000 season tickets. I really don't think Siga like us.
On the 2018 game I asked if I could improve the youth facilities and got a sharp NO

Well this game we are in the Prem in the Mem. New stadium was agreed by the board as we were getting sell outs every game and season ticket sells were at its max every season for a while. The board agreed once promotion was won to the prem that a new stadium was needed as we have the fan base to grow. The council blocked the plans so no new stadium. Following season which is this season, we go into administration right at the end of December. Its because we don't have the revenue because we don't have the stadium to allow more fans to get the extra revenue. Its now the start of the Jan transfer window our better players that we have are already being sold. We now have a 16 year old goalkeeper as our 1st team and 1st choice keeper!

I wonder if these games are put together by a Brizzle lad as you comments like That'l be a corner and if he is then I think he must support the other mob across the city which would explain the stop being put on the ground by the council

Is your young keeper any good????

No he aint good at all. Just for the record I am not the Rovers manager. But I have them as a subscription so I get all their updates like results, injuries/suspensions, signings, transfer listed players, other news like stadium and docked points etc. If I had known we were about to go into administration, I would have bought a player and paid way over the odds for him to try and us from administration.

I wouldnt be surprised if the Bristol clubs were put together by Bristol folk. Usually the game makers tweet and ask for someone from each club to help provide detailed info on players and staff at their club to make the game as accurate as possible. Rovers are in the Prem (although 19th now due to 9 points deducted.) City are in L2 relegated last season from L1 and also have poor finances. Seems like Lansdown disappeared and left them in trouble! I wonder who ever did the Bristol clubs had to explain in detail like stadium issues and what would happen if their sugar daddy leaves, just to make the game as realistic as possible. Because Lansdown wont be owner for life as he retires etc.

Playing 2018 game and I have just been promoted to the Championship so I asked them to make the capacity bigger, they have just advised me we are moving to Stoke Gifford to share with Bristol Rovers. I'm confused

Are you playing as Rovers? That would be strange to get that message if you are Rovers yet you are being told by the board that they are sharing with Rovers! <laugh>

I been playing my game a lot recently. As you know, Rovers in my game were doing great in the Prem and needed a bigger stadium. That was refused by the local council. Then the following season Rovers fell into administration and docked 9 points.... hence this thread. Currently in that same season in March. Rovers are 19th and 6 points off safety. Have a 16 year old goalkeeper, 16 year old centreback and a 15 year old midfielder who regularly starts. I will be amazed if Rovers stay up.

I've never lasted this long before. I usually buy the new game each year so only last a few seasons before I start the new game. But I was doing really well and kept going and going.

Season is over now. Rovers just survived relegation on the last day. By beating Liverpool 4-3 with only 10 men with still over 30 mins to play. Rovers striker aged just 17 scored 2 goals which were his first 2 goals for Rovers. He has terrible stats too. This is how desperate Rovers were and somehow still survived.

Here is the table at the end of the 2029/30 season.
