I voted no because it would descend into a slagging match before the end of the first page, but if it means that the other threads improve in quality discussion then I'll change my vote!
Did we not have these in the past? I am all for it (I'll vote on the Newcastle one). It will keep the boards clutter free.
Banter is fine ...... it's the childish incest, inbred, ****e etc that the Mags can't seem to resist. Perhaps the fact that Sunderland donated a huge amount of money for their 2 lads will make them more reasonable ..... doubt it though.
Personally used to enjoy them for all games and tbf theres nothing from stopping people going on the boards of the team anyway As long as they dont descend into slagging off matches and remain on the topic of football and the game itself then its alright Personally thought Hull fans were the worst for it last season, few of the NUFC lads seemed canny
Well this was behind my timing, seems a good time to draw a line in the sand. It used to be great, but back then clubs teasing didn't descend into personal family insults. A lot of good posters have disappeared, if we can all get on, have fun and take the piss without telling someone they've had kids with their sister, then maybe it would encourage posters to return. First post on the Newcastle's poll was somebody accusing me of telling people what to do and declaring the poll not fit for purpose! So this may end badly
It''ll never happen. The rules changed a long time ago...Far to many sensitive fooker, on every board. No good crying over spilt milk... 1. who would be in charge of the thread? mag mods or safc? 2. who could delete posts etc? mag mods or safc? when it goes tits up, (as it will) who closes it? cross board should never have been scrapped, but now the forum is pg rated, these threads will never be allowed again, due to the fairies.
