Being a saints fan and living in Reading I have had to put up with a lot of stick from my mates the past few season who support Reading! Needless to say I had a bit of a smirk on my face when they lost the playoff final! I have made a bet with a mate who is a big Reading follower ( yes there are some) for £100 that saints will finish higher than them..... he's also that confident he's given me a 15 point head start! Who's the stupid one?
I hope so! Can't see them keeping the main players who did well for them last season I dunno what they will have to spend though!
Think I will take a screen shot and print it off...... maybe frame it on my wall til the season is finished haha!
We might not finish above Reading (who are a good side with a good manager), but I don't think we'll finish 15 points below them.
Have to agree with you there if the bet had of been on a level start I might have said £20 but he lured me with the 15 points we would have to have a shocking season for that to happen and we all know that's not going to happen!

You think thats a bad bet, my mate is a Leeds fan and he bet me around October time that Leeds would finish higher in the Championship than we would in League 1! He also gave me 2/1 odds
