BOOTS!! As I am being nagged constantly for new boots by my lad, I always remember my first pair. Gola Goalmaster, black with that goldy/yellow stripe proper colours not bloody pink or bright orange uuurgh. They were proper boots that needed dubbin on em.
sure do, mitre..black with a white stripe and green studs..remember my 1st goal in them for school too..a right foot mishit (im left footed) which looped over the keeper
As you are only 20 allegedly thats a pretty poor memory. Korsakoffs or never actually played even as a kid?
I don't remember them, but they were probably bought from Boyes, as were my Naytex jeans. Those were the days!!!
What's that supposed to mean!? Anyway, yes I did play, and to make it worse only from the age of 10. So my first pair were bought in 2001.
I didn't really have an interest in playing football to a high level when I was young so didn't need any. However I was forced to get some for P.E. in secondry school and they were Nike Total 90's or something. Then I had some F10's. I used to get loads of stick from my mates who had f50's or something. It never made any sense to me, they were paying £80 for some boots, but they were all absolutely **** at football.
Puma Maradonna King, great boots they were aswell- set up a certain Mr Nick Barmby many times with those.
No offence meant but why post "Im afraid i dont". Dont answer the thread, just meant surely a 20 yr old will remember is all.
Oh ye had a pair of those too. Dont know if it was in them but kicked a certain cocky "little" **** who played for Northwood when he was 17/18 ish after he was released by City.
No offence, but don't call the thread "Do you remember your first pair of boots?" if you don't want anyone to say they've forgotten.
Of course I remember my first pair of boots. Who would forget!! They were real leather lace up boots with hard toe caps and leather studs that you had to nail on. Of course they didn't have a fancy name either but were good for slogging through the mud of the school playng field.
My uncle gave me mine heavy as hell felt like you were running around with concrete on your feet when they got wet. They were his old boots and the stunk real bad. Do'nt recall what make they were but I can still remember that smell. Do'nt think I ever got a brand new pair of boots we were a bit poor see.
