When was the last time we won 6-0 and had six different scorers? I don't know the answer so come on Stattos; dig deepand come up with the answer - if there is one!
I'm not 100% sure the last goal was Joe's. I think Kodjia might of got the final touch and TV highlights shows Joe looking at Kodjia and smiling at him.
only saw it once... so far .. but it did look like it was destined to go in anyway, and Kodija 's foot was close on the line!
I believe we beat Hereford 0-6 in an F.A.Cup replay back in the late sixties but wouldn't expect 6 scorers.
Last three v Bradford Last season Tavernier scored twice v Gillingham 205-06 Carey scored twice v Sept 1969 Charlton ??
have to disagree . in slomo the ball goes over his boot/ankle which appears 2-4" inside the line...only did one of the camera angles, the others were less clear. A FULL FOOT / leg contact could have diverted the ball ..up out or toward the post, that would have been controversial as the ball was just across the line
Not being contrarian, if you look at the camera angle from behind the post where the ball went in, he clearly touches WAY before it goes over the line. Watched it half a dozen times and it is definitely JK's goal (not that I am trying to rob Joe)...
3am the ball was just over the line when Kodija's heel came into contact with the ball on the side of the ball furthest from the camera. the complete ball was in all the slo mo pics, Kodija's leg behind it. The trajectory was without any influence from Kodija heading for at least +2 net squares inside the post. . . . EDIT I would have loved Kodija to have gotten a second, but JB unfortunately has the credit and rightly so .... ... .. .
The ball has ALREADY MADE CONTACT WITH JK's FOOT and it has still not quite totally crossed the line. JK's goal...
It's in the records as Joe's goal so this is not going to change however that is not the point. The ball doesn't have to change course, the touch is enough. We've seen it a million times on MOTD over the decades where the striker has got the slightest of touches on the way in or like in this case, poked the ball in an inch before it crosses the line and is credited as they got the last touch. It's JK's goal = 100% EDIT:- here is the link, sadly there are 2 minutes of adverts at the beginning that you can't skip but its free of them after that. The goal in question is about 7:30 in... https://www.my5.tv/the-championship-football-league-tonight/season-1/episode-33
