Do you guys still feel a lot of rivalry towards us this season?

This isn't a wum or dig btw. Just the truth. I've made a similar post on the other NUFC forum but I just wanted to seek views here also.

I've just realised there that I haven't even thought about Sunderland in weeks. I've been so fixated on the currently rivalry between Chelsea and Spurs that Sunderland have barely crossed my mind, where they used to quite frequently. In fact, whenever I check the scores I always check Spurs and Chelsea before Sunderland.

Is it similar for you guys as well? Has the large points gap and lack of any real competition between the two sides caused the rivalry to fizzle out a bit? Are there any teams around where you guys are in the table which you're focusing more on rivalry-wise compared to us?

Really, it's been weeks but I've suddenly noticed there. Surely people have noticed that the amount of times I've posted on here lately have plummeted? All I can recall doing is making a few posts about Adam Johnson, a couple about Ben Arfa vs Sessegnon and a few about the grand national.

It just feels weird to be focusing so heavily on teams like Spurs and Chelsea when Sunderland has been the first name I've checked for months previously. Very weird.

I browse loads of footy sites including Newcastle ones and I am a member of at least 5 other none Sunderland sites, there are some good threads and opinions to read by intelligent posters, your point is what exactly.

I haven't thought about Sunderland as much as I used to because I've been so fixated on what's happening in the situation were in. Suddenly you guys have popped into my head again, so I thought I'd make a thread to see whether you guys are also experiencing the same 'loss of rivalry' due to being in different situations with different rivals.

Fairly straightforward and non-offensive really. You either have or you haven't.
